Founded by Tony Nguyen, a second-generation Vietnamese general contractor, Union Construction builds on decades of family expertise in repairing and constructing commercial properties across the U.S. Gulf Coast. Growing up immersed in the construction industry, Tony developed a deep respect for craftsmanship and a passion for problem-solving.

Tony’s journey began with a focus on HVAC/R services, where he gained his license and quickly built a reputation for delivering high-quality commercial installations. His dedication to his craft and attention to detail caught the eye of a Rice University Jones School of Business MBA entrepreneurship graduate, who presented Tony with an opportunity to expand his business by completing a full-service restaurant construction project in Houston. Together, they tackled the restaurant project, providing end-to-end general contracting services. The success of this endeavor marked the beginning of Union Construction—a company built on Tony’s dedication to quality, integrity, and delivering tailored solutions for every client.

Today, Union Construction specializes in restaurant and commercial construction, offering a seamless process from concept to completion. With a foundation rooted in hard work, family values, and a deep understanding of the industry, we are proud to build spaces that serve the community and stand the test of time.
